COMMUNITY-MINDED

Client-Centered

We’re from the neighborhood. Each of us has roots in neighborhood development in Northeast Ohio and we bring a community-minded approach to our practice of law.

We see community as the intersection of people and place. As lawyers, we’re here to help you navigate that intersection — and build on it. We’re here as counsel — to help you understand the legal and practical landscape and make informed decisions, and as advocate — to help you put those decisions into action.

We’re ready to meet you where you are and listen. Recognizing that your needs are unique, we work with you to develop pragmatic solutions that fit your environment and your goals.

Benjamin D. “Ben” Faller

PARTNER

Licensed to practice law in Ohio

Ben has been working on housing and community development issues in northeast Ohio for more than a decade. He brings real-world experience as an educator, small business owner, and nonprofit executive to his practice as an attorney. These many roles have given him a unique perspective on the legal challenges and opportunities faced by individuals, groups, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

Before joining forces with Anthony and Adam as Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC, Ben taught and practiced transactional law in Case Western Reserve University’s Community Development Clinic at the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic Center. There, he supervised and mentored law students in representing a wide range of nonprofits, social enterprises, and small businesses on issues such as formation, tax-exemption, corporate structuring, real estate ownership and operations, contracting, governance, compliance, and risk management. He continues to support the Community Development Clinic program in a coaching role.  Prior to that, he taught community development law and mediation, also at CWRU Law, served as Chief Housing Specialist for the Cleveland Housing Court under the late Judge Raymond L. Pianka, and was the Executive Director for Home Repair Resource Center, a nonprofit housing counseling and homeowner-education organization based in Cleveland Heights.

A strong believer in the role that philanthropy and nonprofit organizations can play in supporting communities, Ben joined Collaborate Cleveland (formerly Social Venture Partners Cleveland) in 2017, and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He has been involved since 2013 with the Vacant and Abandoned Property Action Council (VAPAC), a county-wide collaborative involving participants from local governments, nonprofits, and academia that develops, explores, and coordinates innovative approaches to neighborhood stabilization. And he is proud to have served as the initial chairperson of the board of directors of Larchmere Porchfest, a nonprofit free music festival in the neighborhood where he and his partner Jesse Honsky have lived for the past decade.

Ben obtained his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, holds a B.A. in Political Science from St. John’s University, Magna Cum Laude, and is a graduate of Gilmour Academy.

Adam has worked across all levels of government, the private sector and non-profits during his diverse career. A believer in finding opportunity where you least expect it, he has naturally gravitated towards real estate and business counsel as an attorney. Practicing law with a focus on place-making and business growth, Adam has established a practice that often results in strengthening communities across northeast Ohio.

Prior to co-founding Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC, Adam spent more than 4 years as Economic Development Director at the Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization, helping to add dozens of businesses to the bustling neighborhood on the near west side of Cleveland. At Detroit Shoreway, he was responsible for the overall economic development and the revitalization of commercial districts. He also managed a 50,000 square foot retail portfolio for the non-profit, provided technical assistance to existing businesses and coordinated public improvements and governmental approvals in the commercial districts. Prior to that, Adam was an associate attorney at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP in Cleveland practicing in their commercial real estate group. While in law school, he worked in U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. Attorney’s office in the District of Columbia, and Cuyahoga County Law Department.

Adam is third generation born in Akron, Ohio and a third generation graduate from The Ohio State University. He is involved in the community and currently serves on the Community Relations Committee of the Cleveland Jewish Federation and volunteers with the 3R’s program through the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Adam lives in Gordon Square with his wife and Drink Local Drink Tap founder, Erin Huber and their dog River. He also operates a plant-based tailgate blog and is an accomplished short-course triathlete, competing at national and world championships at the amateur level.

Adam obtained his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State, where he also received a Masters of Public Administration, Summa Cum Laude, from the Levin College of Urban Affairs. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from The Ohio State University, Magna Cum Laude.

Anthony J. Trzaska

PARTNER

Licensed to practice law in Ohio

Anthony is part attorney, part serial entrepreneur. He combines an eye for community development with a passion for revitalization of Cleveland's historic neighborhoods – for the benefit of longstanding institutions and bold new ventures alike.

Prior to co-founding Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC, Anthony practiced law in the region for more than a decade. He served as general counsel to his family’s small business and as associate attorney at a corporate law firm. From there, he's piloted his own practice, focusing on business formation strategy, continuing counsel for founders, and the intricacies of real estate ownership, management, and development. Most recently, Anthony was a member of an innovative, New York-based boutique law firm, where he oversaw the launch and development of its Cleveland office as a Managing Partner.

Anthony has long explored the intersection of his personal passion and his professional expertise in his native neighborhood of Slavic Village. He rekindled a citywide love affair with the Slovenian National Home ("The Nash") through his comprehensive programming and fundraising efforts as its Director of Development. From there, he went on to found Sonny Day Development, a real estate venture committed to strengthening the fabric of the community through thoughtful real estate renewal and new business development. In his ongoing efforts to cultivate a new wave of the Old World, Anthony has learned to counter challenges with creativity, and promote accessible legal counsel that empowers small business. Anthony and his wife, Melissa, reside in Lakewood, Ohio, with their four children – Annie, Allan, Jack, and Louie.

Anthony obtained his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, Cum Laude, holds a B.A. in English from Ohio University, and is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School.

Abigail Greiner

ATTORNEY

Licensed to practice law in Ohio

Abby has been involved in the Cleveland legal community for more than 11 years.  She brings a unique perspective from her experience working for adjudicators in both state and federal governments, as well as several years of practice in civil litigation.  She enjoys collaborating with others – even in tense situations – to find creative solutions that provide the greatest benefit to all.

Prior to joining Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC, Abby served as an Attorney Advisor with the Social Security Administration.   In this role, she worked with administrative law judges to serve the public appearing before the Cleveland Office of Hearing Operations.  During her years in private practice, Abby handled all aspects of defense-side civil litigation matters and has represented clients in cases ranging from personal injury and wrongful death claims to construction defects and subrogation matters.  Abby began her legal career as a Staff Attorney in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.  There, she assisted the Court in management of the civil docket and review of motions before the Court and participated in conferences with parties and counsel.  This background in public and private practice informs her holistic approach to developing options and negotiating solutions that meet her clients’ needs.

Abby is a native Pittsburgher, but while attending Case Western Reserve University School of Law, she quickly found a home in Cleveland and has remained here ever since.  While she’s been settled in the Tremont neighborhood for the past 10 years, Abby keeps herself busy throughout Northeast Ohio.  In the spring and summer months, she enjoys officiating youth sports in the Cleveland area as a certified softball umpire, and exploring the Metroparks with her dog, Rusty.  She also helps run the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Lawyers' Softball and Basketball leagues, and is an active member of the William K. Thomas American Inn of Court.

Abby graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Law, Cum Laude.  She holds a B.S. in Marketing Management from Grove City College, Magna Cum Laude.

Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC is built on the idea that a law firm should be genuinely connected to its community. Cleveland, and all of northeast Ohio, is made up of countless communities and neighborhoods, each with its own unique and important character. Anthony, Adam, and Ben bring their experience with and appreciation of these communities to their work.

From Slavic Village, to Detroit Shoreway, to Larchmere, they have been building bridges within and between neighborhoods, facilitating transformational neighborhood projects, helping launch generational businesses, and preserving legacies.

They set out together in early 2020 with a vision of a law firm that is community-minded and client-focused. A law firm that is accessible, pragmatic, and determined to help its clients identify and achieve their goals. A law firm that helps its clients be effective users of legal services.  A law firm that appreciates the need to connect expertise, experience, and relationships to get the job done. And most of all, a law firm that is creative, agile, and able to meet client needs in a rapidly changing world. Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC is the result.
